Personal Data Protection (KVKK)

1. Purpose

Eliş Şile Bezi Tekstil Ticaret — Hasan Kayan ("the Company") has prepared this policy to set out how personal data is processed and protected, and to fulfil our obligations under Law No. 6698 of the Republic of Türkiye on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK).

2. Data controller

The data controller is the Company, registered with the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, with address at Atakent Mh. Burç Cd. No:8/C, 34760 Ümraniye / İstanbul.

3. Categories of personal data processed

• Identity data — name, surname, ID details where required
• Contact data — phone, email, postal address
• Financial data — billing details, payment records
• Location data — shipping addresses
• Customer transaction data — orders, returns, support history
• Marketing data — preferences, campaign participation
• Special categories — only where strictly necessary and with consent

4. Legal basis & purposes

Personal data is processed under one or more of the following legal bases: explicit consent; performance of a contract; compliance with a legal obligation; protection of legitimate interests of the Company, provided that the rights of data subjects are not overridden.

5. Retention periods

• Employees: 15 years after end of employment
• Customers: 10 years after last transaction
• Job candidates: 10 years after application
• Risk management records: 2 years

6. Security measures

We apply technical measures (encryption, firewalls, access logs) and administrative measures (role-based access, staff training, confidentiality undertakings) to safeguard personal data.

7. Rights of data subjects

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to: learn whether your data is being processed; request information on processing; learn the purpose of processing; know the third parties to whom data is transferred; request correction or deletion; object to consequences of automated processing; and claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing. Requests are answered within 30 days.
